Installation

How to install the patch

Requires your own legally acquired Japanese Sakura no Uta Re:Graphic 10th Anniversary edition, Ver1.0.0. The original 2015 edition, Sakura no Toki, and other English releases are not supported.

  1. 01

    Close the game and extract the ZIP

    Open the installed game folder containing sakuranouta10th.exe. Keep a backup of your saves. If a file named sakuranouta10th.pfs.502 already exists, move it to a backup folder outside the game folder.

  2. 02

    Copy the English patch

    Copy the downloaded sakuranouta10th.pfs.502 beside the executable. Leave all original archives, including sakuranouta10th.pfs.500, in place. No installer, Python, or font installation is needed.

    Launch normally

    Start sakuranouta10th.exe. On macOS with Wine, copy the file into the game folder your existing launcher uses, then fully quit and relaunch through that launcher. The download does not include a standalone Mac app.

Updating an earlier MAO patch

Close the game, move the existing sakuranouta10th.pfs.502 to your backup folder, and copy the new file into its place. Keep exactly one file with that name. Restart to load the new patch.

Removing the patch

Close the game and move the MAO sakuranouta10th.pfs.502 out of the game folder. Restore any file you backed up with that exact name. The original archives and saves are untouched by installation.

The game still shows Japanese or old text

Check that the file is beside the executable, not in an extra subfolder, and that its extension has not been changed. Fully restart the game and confirm your launcher uses this installation. An already-open page restored from a save can retain old text; advance or start a new game to check. Temporarily remove other unofficial patches.

The game will not start

Move the MAO file out of the game folder and try the unmodified game. If that also fails, check the original installation or Wine configuration. Restore your previous patch backup if needed.

Verify the download

The ZIP includes SHA256SUMS.txt. The patch file is 257,774,220 bytes.
